Guatemala es un país hermoso con gente muy linda y costumbres muy preciadas, pero también con gente mala y feas mañas. Éste es tan solo mi muy particular punto de vista sobre todo lo positivo y negativo que acontece en el país de la eterna primavera.

Esta es la esencia de mi país, así es mi Guatemala!! yasminca: So this is how I get to and from the school I am volunteering at in Jocotenango. Chicken buses are former US school buses that are vibrantly painted, with insides that are usually plastered with colorful Catholic iconography. Oftentimes blaring Central American music and usually overcrowded, it costs me 2 Quetzals to get to school (less than 50 cents). The bus I took home today actually had a brand new flatscreen TV stuck precariously above the driver’s head, playing some weird reggaeton video with 50 Cent. Yeah.
